REFORMATION X JK LINE PROJECT
Design Statement
My Spring 2019 collection for Reformation was inspired by the street life on Paris- cafes and brunch, the femininity of makeup, and also modern neon lights. I wanted my line to have the ability to let women feel as delicate or as bold as they would like, just like makeup gives women the ability to look soft and pretty, or bold. Our customer is a woman in her mid 20s- 30s. She is a working woman and has a job that allows her to fully express herself through her clothes. She loves fashion; she likes to keep it feminine and classy, while still being bold and edgy. She sticks with classic silhouettes, but loves to experiment with the latest trends as well. My designs are a reflection of the strong, confident, and independent women of today's society who can wear whatever they want. My designs can be styled with a lot of different clothing and accessories to completely change the look of the outfit, you can make them look very soft and girly, or make them look very edgy.
